Tour Overview
Step into the culinary world of Tachiguisushi Sushikawa, a Michelin-listed standing sushi restaurant in Shibuya, Tokyo. This 1.5-hour hands-on session lets you dress like a sushi chef, learn traditional nigiri techniques from professionals, and experience the authentic rhythm of Tokyo’s tachigui culture—standing-style dining close to the chef’s counter.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll craft sushi using seasonal ingredients, compare your creations with the chef’s, and enjoy Japanese tea or sake tasting. The experience concludes with a warm soup and a souvenir to remember your culinary journey.
Each session is limited to small groups for close guidance. Ingredients may vary depending on the season and market availability. Dietary requests can be arranged in advance but may not always be accommodated.
